And now he's 5

Alex has really been into Toon Town (well addicted but that sounds bad for a 5 year old...). Toon Town is an internet game run by Disney. There are these "Cogs" who are trying to take over Toon Town and turn it into a big stuffy corporation. There are 4 different kinds of "Cog": Boss Bots, Law Bots, Cash Bots and Sell Bots. They wear suits and cannot take a joke. Consequently, the Toons work to earn 'gags' to 'attack' the Cogs with.
Alex of course wanted a Toon Town birthday party. (Whatever happened to the birthday in a box The kids came and we generated

Toon names for them "Doctor Dizzy Lady Bug Chomp" was one. After they were "Toon'ed" they went fishing to earn jelly beans so they could buy their gags. Everyone earned 5 jelly beans so we proceeded to "Goofy's Gag Shop".

"Goofy's Gag Shop" had just gotten in a ton of new gags so it was a good day to stop by. The kids got horns, foam rockets, silly string and water guns. In order to get our 'happiness points' up we stopped in at "Daisy's Diner" for Mickey Shaped Sandwiches and some fruit.

Finally we all felt ready to take on the Cog building. We went outside and there were 4 nasty Cogs waiting for us. We put up a good effort defeating the first 3 with ease.

The last Cog "The Big Cheese Boss Bot" aka Kevin threatened everyone that they would have to go to work for the rest of their lives!!! It was serious so we took out everything we had to to
try and attack him. Finally we won! There was celebrating by all. (Except the Cogs obviously :)

Alex had a great time and I think all of his friends did too! It is hard to believe he is 5! My little boy!

P.S. It should be noted that Payton made and decorated his cake (to match a cake like the ones that the Toons throw). The girls and their friends worked hard to make the awesome decorations and help to be cogs. What great friends we have.
