We were lucky to get tickets to San Jose Opera's "Marriage of Figaro". They did a beautiful job. The girls were excited because it was a 'continuation' of the Barber of Seville. While still considered a comedy, this opera was a little heavier on the opera side. I was surprised at how great my girls were. They helped the other kids sitting with them to understand the plot and characters. Being a Mozart opera the songs were elaborate but beautiful. It was a wonderful evening.
