Payton's Brownie Troop did a field trip to the "Gem and Mineral
" Show at the Santa Clara Fair Grounds. Payton will be bridging up to Jr's and needed to complete a Jr patch before doing it so it worked out perfectly. (They were so awesome. They had all the patches for each level all laid out, with work sheets and everything. (I was so grateful).It is fascinating to see what people are passionate about and what people decide to make their life's pursuits.

I've thought about that before. Scott read a book, for example, that talked about a women who was the world's foremost expert on fleas.
